Fitness Challenge Raises Money For Pleasanton Officer Fighting Pancreatic Cancer

On Saturday, law enforcement as well as community members stepped forward to help a Pleasanton officer who is battling against 4th stage of pancreatic cancer.

The members volunteered for a fitness challenge held at Omni Fight Club’s parking lot. Several local businesses teamed up with Omni as well in an attempt to raise fund for helping police officer Kyle Henrickson as well as his family.

Henrickson’s wife as well as kids were also present at the parking lot where the challenge was being held. The challenge had first responders from many agencies and those who simply wanted Henrickson to know that they were also helping him.

Notably, Henrickson was initially diagnosed with pancreatic cancer previous year and has fought a strong battle. He was not able to attend the fitness challenge post his treatments. However, his family members said that he was extremely touched as well as blessed by the support and love.

Henrickson said that he won’t give up his fight against the cancer.

The fitness challenge on Saturday raised the sum of $7,000. The aim is to reach $15,000 for ‘Kyle Kicks Cancer Fundraiser.’
